"Stayed for a couple of weeks whilst our house was rewired. Nice part of the world, comfortable accommodation, wasn't rushing to go home. Though I live in Worcester it was nice to explore this part of the county. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Really lovely place to stay, it was a great holiday home, literally smack bang in the middle of the Forrest of Dean so most things were only a 5 mins car ride or 15 mins on the bike. Owners provided everything we needed, would definitely recommend"

"We loved our stay at Merryview, the location is stunningly beautiful! The bungalow was warm and inviting, everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy. "Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."
