"The breakfast closes too early. Many guests would have arrived the previous night, and have jet lag. During our stay, the Jurin restaurant still had customers wanting to enter, but they were turned away, saying that the restaurant was closed."

"Superior corner room was really narrow and felt stuffy. The bathroom needs new grouting as it was quite stained. Front desk staff were lacking in communication skills. Breakfast was the same everyday and not that good. Location was excellent. "

"Excellent room with plenty of space despite 3 sharing. Reception were lovely and very helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for Nijo Castle and the Imperial palace. There was a subway station within 5 mins walk, making it east to explore other areas of Kyoto. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby"

"We appreciate that The Blossom is close to the local subway station (though with luggage, you’ll need to use exit #6 with a lift, then cross two streets) to arrive and depart if taking public transit. Our room was pleasant and well-appointed with everything a traveler would need. The onsen (hot bathing spa) was lovely—relaxing, impeccable and quiet. We didn’t use the laundry, but it was wonderful for the folks that did. They could easily wait in the lounge in their kataka (summer casual kimono-style spa wear) that The Blossom provided fresh and pressed each day of our stay. This was a boon! It was like having a spa membership as part of our hotel package. "

"Right across the street from the Nijo station... so it was perfect to catch the train wherever you wanted to go. Loved the shower. My room was on the smaller side but that was fine with us. We were out and about most of the days anyway. I enjoyed the public bath facilities ( separate one for men and women). The water had to be 105 degrees Fahrenheit, it was great. It was relaxing after a day full of walking. My bed was a little hard but I'm very spoiled in my Purple bed at home. Plenty of items for breakfast. Anyway, great location, location, location. "
