"The Grand Hyatt Seoul has a fantastic location above Itaewon with beautiful views, and that's about all it has going for it. The service was among the worst I have experienced at a hotel in this category. I repeatedly asked for housekeeping and no one ever came. Turndown service simply doesn't exist here. For a property charging luxury rates, these are basics, not extras. Credit where it's due: a manager kindly moved me to a renovated room, which was a welcome gesture, and breakfast was decent enough. But one helpful staff member cannot make up for a hotel that seems indifferent to its guests. If you are considering the Grand Hyatt for a Seoul trip, I would strongly recommend the Four Seasons instead — comparable location in old Seoul, and they actually understand what service means."

"1人旅で3泊しましたが、温泉もそれほど混まずゆっくりできました。夜鳴きそばやロビーの無料コーヒーなどもあり快適な滞在でした。スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーで完璧な日本語で案内してくれます。洗濯機が無料で使えるのもボーナスでした（乾燥機は別途有料) 一時的のようですが、空港行きバス乗り場もホテルの目の前で大変便利でした。確かに立地は坂の上にありますが、シンノンヒョン駅からホテルへの上り坂はそれほどキツく感じませんでした。オンジュ駅からのほうが下り坂で楽です。また韓国へ行く際は利用したいです。"

"Overall, the stay was good, but there was one major issue. The air conditioning in the room was turned off and only the heater was available. Because the room was on a higher floor with a lot of sunlight, the temperature went up to around 30°C, which made it very uncomfortable. I asked the reception for help, and they offered to bring up a fan, but unfortunately it didn’t make much of a difference."

"The location of the hotel is excellent. Sinnohyeon Station Exit 7 is within 5-min walk. Gangnam Station is around 15-min walk. Lots of shopping stores and restaurants near proximity of the hotel. If you are also into Korean skin treatments, I super recommend you stay in this hotel since most skin treatment clinics are located here. Staff are very friendly and good in English, so it was very easy for me to check-in. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Seoul again."
