"This was exactly as advertised and exactly what I was looking for in a weekend retreat. The house is 20 minutes from the Joshua Tree NP entrance, and secluded enough to have an incredible number of stars in the night sky. The house was well appointed and the hosts were thoughtful in their care. If you’re looking for an escape to the desert, look no further!"
"Traveling solo as a female I was comforted that the parking lot was close to my door and that I was able to travel in and out without feeling unsafe, even at night. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice smell to the room. The only thing was that one of the lights didn’t work and the mini fridge was very wobbly with a bunch of water leaking from the freezer part. Otherwise, I had a very pleasant stay and I’d say it’s worth the price if you’re looking for a place to sleep at night. Did not try the shower."

"This was a great place to stay for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park. It was very close to the park entrance as well as the town of Twentynine Palms, yet it was still a bit secluded. There was plenty of space in the house. We appreciated all the items available in the kitchen for cooking. We went into the park to see a sunset, but we probably would have been best suited just staying at the house - saw some great sunrises and sunsets. The house was very clean and nicely laid out. We enjoyed all the windows. The host responded very quickly to my inquires. And how can you beat having a classic Arcade game station. Good thing I just decided to play this on our last day - it was addicting."
