"Very good location to stay in Kyoto. In the center of Kyoto and very near to Kyoto train station"

"The room is very clean, and plenty of space consider it's in Japan where most hotel room are small, the hot bath is very nice and clean. Service is excellent, breakfast was very good."

"Delicious breakfast, lovely, kind and helpful staff, peaceful and comfortable lodging, and amazing location! Really the highlight of our visit to Japan! Would highly recommend!"

"Wonderful experience, great location, friendly lovely hosts."

"It’s your traditional Japanese house very clean and well kept only downfall for us was that we were 5 and only one bathroom and the bathroom was downstairs and beds upstairs and also stairs were a little steep for us but overall we made it work and enjoyed our time."

"Very nice accomodation, with very pleasant and kind owners. A very good position to visit the city. Rent of bicycles is advised. "

"BLACK MOLD, don’t book. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this is a real health concern. The woman asked to “clean” it and offered another took but the while building smelled like mold. You can’t simply clean mold. You need to have it professionally removed. I understand Japan is humid and the bathroom is wet but other hotels offer a dehumidifier. We decided not to stay and we could not get a refund. Truly sucks since we couldn’t see the place until we checked in."
