"We arrived at the O Fallon IL Drury, our very first stay at a Drury. Upon our arrival at the hotel there was a serious issue, both elevators were broken.What should have been a nightmare turned out to be all hands on deck to help get our luggage to our rooms. The manager, Grant handled the situation seamlessly. Not only did he carry our luggage up the several sets of steps himself, we also seen him throughout our stay, accommodating us and the guests as though we were family. I was impressed with Florida a hard working and friendly housekeeper. Shaka was serving us evening drinks with a smile and in a friendly manor making us as comfortable as if we were in our own home. The hotel was clean , provided a good hot breakfast and a very nice evening kickback. Coupling that with the caring and accommodating staff , we will be looking for a Drury the next time we travel. Thanks for the great stay!"

"This may seem like a trick question but they ask how was the property in this area. It’s not the best place in St. Louis and this place doesn’t look rundown from the outside, but my room looked like it just had a makeover very new and modern looking, I had a good night sleep, and it was relatively quiet. They should’ve upgraded some of the USB ports, but that is the only thing that I can say negatively."

"Stayed 5 nights: 1st night, after driving 8 hours, realized the TV was not working due to a very obvious faulty hook-up cable situation, which I offered to fix myself as it was an easy fix & I was ready for Golden Girls & sleep. Went to speak to the lady, sitting on the lounge area couch on her phone, who informed me there was nothing anyone could do & put a work order in to be fixed the next day. I had just booked the room online, knew there were vacancies, & asked if we could just do a quick cable swap-out for the night, which I can do efficiently, was told there were no empty rooms or that had the same TV, & again, “nothing that could be done tonight.” Cool, thanks. She was very nice though, & I’m still wondering why she was there alone by herself at night with unlocked front doors, & why wasn’t any extra functional back-up equipment available at all? It was resolved the next day around 1:30ish. Zero housekeeping services at all during the stay, had to go down to request clean towels & a small bottle of shampoo, full sizes provided in the showers were & remained empty. Noticed on the 3rd day that some guests were leaving their tied-up trash bags outside their doors to be picked up eventually, causing a musty smell that was made a little better by the aroma of the ole devil’s lettuce skipping down the hall. Owners/staff were all very friendly but service was mediocre at best. I’d stay again if it was only for a night or 2. "
