Search B&B in New Athens

"I was looking for a decent place to stay that was affordable. I found this place. It was clean, no odors, no complaints on room (comfortable), no pests, no loud noises, no disgruntled employees, great parking. Very close to stores and restaurants. Would give 5 stars but breakfast is $11.99 and there is no internet on the tv (could not use apps to stream movies). Overall, Good stay! Would I stay again? Yes, although complimentary breakfast and internet on the tv would be icing on the cake. "

"We usually stay at drury properties no matter where we go, Fairview heights even though a newer one was probably the worst. The rooms were clean but the pool and hot tub were absolutely disgusting there were hair, skin pieces, bandaids, and the overwhelming smell of urine. You could tell it had not been cleaned in a long time. And the hot tub jets did not work at all it was stagnant people soup. The staff seemed to not care about anything at all. The food a Drury's are normally great but they swapped taco night (which our kids love) for some overdone dry and somehow still greasy meatballs and rice.... My kids didn't eat that night it was so gross. Breakfast was not up to Drury standard either it was the most disappointing Drury experience I've had. With the premium price the facilities and the food should be much higher quality. "

"The pool was closed even though the website said it was available. The sheets and towels had stains on them. My significant other saw a cockroach in the bathroom."

"This was the dirtiest, smelliest, worst LaQuinta i have ever stayed in. The beds were clean and comfy but the rest of everything was THE WORST!"

"Very rundown and broken. We opened the door to our room and instantly noticed hundreds of bugs dead on the carpet. We layed our sleeping children down on one of the beds and as we pulled the sheets back we found 4-5 live giant beetle type bugs. It was the most disgusting thing. There was hair all over the bathroom. We grabbed our children and left. "

"The initial staff I talked to the guy was fine. Most of the staff were OK except for the lady that I talked to in the end. The manager wasn’t there when I checked out in the afternoon to complain about the mold in the bathroom.to get a refund."
