The ability to walk out the gate and within no time, be hiking through a field of sheep and lambs, icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this vrbo. "My husband, knowing how much we both love the Cotswolds, booked this cottage as a last-minute surprise, to wrap up our trip to the UK, to celebrate my birthday. What an absolute delight to spend an evening at Sunnybank Cottage. I was smitten from the moment we walked in. Beautifully appointed, wonderful location, and an absolute highlight in a busy agenda. I so wish we would have had more time to linger. I spent about 10 minutes just gazing across the picturesque landscape. It was a perfect...

"The communication from the moment we booked was quick and efficient with a very detailed welcome pack. Lots of suggestions and tips for our stay. When we entered the property we had a lovely breakfast basket supplied by the management. Every room was well kept and decorated. Our little boy loved it as well as my parents who are pretty convinced they want to now retire here. Fans were provided in each bedroom which were needed in the heatwave. Parking was a bit sparse but alternative areas were...

The Wood Norton

The Wood Norton

8/10 Good
"My room was a Standard Room and in the “Courtyard” which is a walk along the side of the main property (no umbrella supplied if raining) and not so suitable for a single lady traveller if arriving back late at night. Bed was very comfortable and the first night I slept well, the second evening was noisy as it appears the room was next to a bottle bank. I was then woken at 06.15 by a “delivery” being made. I did mention the above to Reception but was sadly told “you booked a standard room” so I guess this means if you don’t book the higher level rooms, you’re not entitled to a good nights sleep. This disappoints me greatly. I also attempted to move to another room on arrival due to the out lying room but was told there were none available, I’m guessing due to the price point I entered with. The food was excellent, and the waiting staff good. The cleanliness in my room and bathroom was good too."
