We are so happy to have found Duck Lodge outside Brighton proper. Located in a safe rural picturesque village, it is an easy train ride into Brighton and you won’t have to hassle with parking and crowds. It was my wife and I’s first fl stay at CG. We loved our room and the service was great. The hotel and grounds were immaculate.

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. Arrived late on Sunday night. After traveling on and off for a week. Denise met me and showed me my room which was beautiful. Nice and clean (had the Rhinefield room) which had an entrance way with own front door with a beautiful bath room plus microwave and refrigerator with tea and coffee making facilities. Had choice of breakfast in room or in their breakfast room. Room was checked daily for clean towels/ tea/ coffee milk etc. Pretty surroundings nice and quiet. Very pleasant and helpful...

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the room was quite warm until I figured out that hose on the portable air conditioner was not attached to the unit.

This hotel was a perfect find. We wanted to stay near, but not in, Southampton for a cruise the next day. and we happened upon this gem. It is in the heart of a very quaint, clean little village, perfect for relaxing after flying over from the US. The staff was exceptional

Lovely location and good food

This is the Best Best Western I have ever seen. It felt like we were in the Victorian period. No A/C in guest rooms, ocean breeze through windows and fan were just fine. The staff was amazing arranging dinner and taxis since there in no Uber/Bolt/Lyft. Hanna especially was beyond helpful and accommodating.

Nice place to stay over where you can enjoy a pint and a meal!!

Perfect stay for anyone visiting Dorchester. Hotel is super clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Parking needs to be pre-booked but there are a number of car parks close by. Hotel is 'room only' which works really well as there is no pressure to get to breakfast!
