If you’re looking for a chain-style hotel with silent rooms and an enormous buffet, I might look elsewhere, but if you want to stay at a lively, top-quality boutique hotel at the heart of a European city, Barrister is the place to go. I swear by Rick Steves in Europe and could definitely see this spot in his guide if he had one for Malta. The excellent ratings are well-earned. "
