"I had a great stay at Amid Hotel in Seoul. The staff were very kind and the room I had was very comfortable as a solo traveler. A plus that there was laundry machines and a small gym, which I ended up not using due to my short stay. The staff let you drop off your luggage earlier than check-in. The location is nice too, quiet and calm. Very close to the metro station and bus stops so it was very easy to get around. In the hallways you could hear chatter from rooms but once inside my room I couldn't hear anything. I would stay here again!"

Travelodge Dongdaemun Hotel

"We had a great stay at the Travelodge Dongdaemun! The location is ideal—it’s centrally situated, so you’re never far from the Dongdaemun Market, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and all the downtown sights. Plus, being close to several subway lines made getting anywhere in Seoul super easy. The room was basic, but it was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After being outside in the heat and humidity all day, coming back to a room with great, individually controlled air conditioning was a lifesaver for a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff was also very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you want a clean, convenient base for exploring Seoul!"

"Surpassed expectations! Great value and location. I was initially hesitant to stay at an Ibis due to a past bad experience in Europe, but I decided to give this location a chance since it was recently renovated. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was great—clean, modern rooms and very friendly staff. A major bonus was that the room was cleaned daily at no extra charge, which feels increasingly rare in Europe these days. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong or Changdeokgung Palace in about 20 to 30 minutes. My only minor feedback is regarding the bathroom: while clean and mold-free, it could use a modern update to match the rest of the room. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its price, quality, and location!"
