"This would’ve been a four or five star review had it not been for a couple of things. First of all there’s a $30 charge per pet, which is in the detail if you read all the details but it’s not clearly stated upfront. Secondly, the keys they give me would not open any of the exterior doors and it took several tries. Third, the room had an odor to it. The girl from the front desk came and sprayed it and that lasted a few minutes and the order was back. We stayed on the bottom floor. I believe it was probably the HVAC, but not sure. On the good side, one of the two young ladies at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was above par and a pleasant surprise. It is located amongst several food options, gas station conveniently located, and easy access to the freeway. In the pet friendly room, they had a pet bed, a chew toy, food, and water bowl, and a couple of complementary dog treats that my dog did not care for. We stayed on a weekend and so the price was much higher than it is there during the week and with the extra pet charge it was significantly overpriced. Had I known about the pet charge I would have chosen a different location for our stay. On the overall it’s a nice enough hotel but the first three items and the price with the pet charge made it a two star experience for us."

"Although the hotel is old they do a somewhat decent job with upkeep. The room wasn’t fabulous but decently clean. The towels need to be tossed in the trash. The staff was kind. The pool and pool area was clean and nice. The breakfast is next to useless. No protein. All prepackaged muffins, toast, cereal. The coffee was not good. The apple and orange juices were completely watered down. Very disappointed in the breakfast. We will go somewhere else next time."
