"Amazing stay as always, it’s my go to when I visit my family. Only one thing I wasn’t happy about was the kettle in the room had not been checked or cleaned and I wasn’t able to use it due to this black flaky stuff stuck to the bottom of it on the inside that wouldn’t wash away. Plus it kept turning on randomly through the night so had to unplug it. "

"This hotel is only .2 km from Canterbury Cathedral, our goal for visiting Canterbury. Great location in town, friendly staff, warm room with hospitable details. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend! "

"The best ever reception staff in Ramsgate. Clean room with a wonderful view of the harbour. We felt like very special guests. Booked this for a festival in Margate so it was a short taxi ride there and back and staff so kindly helplful in organising transport. I definitely recommend it. "

"Super location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast choices and beautiful restaurant for breakfast. Only negative thing about the hotel was the lift...it was absolutely tiny and quite grubby - not at all in keeping with the reception, bar and restaurant areas."

"Beautiful building and decor. Very historic, great breakfast. Very good service and nice staff. The only.minor issues would be that our room didnt have mixer taps on washbasin but i guess thats prt of the heirtage look. The mattress in my room caused me to constantly roll to the middle of bed so obviously worn unevenly so perhaps they need to flip the mattresses around every few month. Swimming pool.was good, just wished it had a sauna even if a small.one as pool was not busy. Overall an excellent stay, extremely good value for money. Would definitely recommend. "

"A wonderful view from a nice room made our trip memorable. Easy access and parking. We were caught out arriving late on a Sunday trying to find toiletries as none were provided at all. The location and ease of access made up for this though."
