"Really enjoyed the stay at Ember Locke. The retro aesthetics and overall design gave the hotel a very cool, unique vibe. Location was very good and well connected, though it was about a 5–10 minute walk to reach busier spots with bakeries, cafés, and restaurants. Overall, a stylish and comfortable place to stay in London. P.s. the washer/dryer was a bit confusing but staff was helpful."

"Just spent nearly a week at the Copthorne Tara. Room was a bit shabby and dated ( although I don’t care about the latter), but clean. And for what I paid, the size of the room was great, and it was just a standard double. Staff helpful. Excellent location near the High Street Kensington Tube stop, and Hyde Park-Kensington Gardens, which is important to me because I love wandering through that park."

"Here’s a draft for your negative review: --- “Shockingly small and wildly overpriced” ★☆☆☆☆ I regret booking this place. The room is unbelievably tiny — barely enough space to turn around. It contains only two bunk beds and a little sink. That’s it. And here’s the kicker: that sink is the ONLY sink in the entire room. There is no sink in the bathroom. None. You have to wash your hands or brush your teeth in the same tiny sink next to the bunks. When I raised concerns, the management simply said they “rent the beds, not the room.” Fine, but at $160 per night — per night! — for just a couple of bunks and no proper bathroom sink, this is an absolute rip-off. London has many expensive options, but this feels like a hostel pretending to be something else. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else."
