"I was really impressed with this lodge especially for what it is and where it is! I was super nervous about the drive into Yosemite being long but it wasn’t a problem and the trade off for how great the lodge is, was worth it. My only feedback: The pool is dirty and lacks enough shallow space for young toddlers. I hung out on the steps with my toddler and there were dead flies everywhere, the pool needs more frequent skimming. Secondly, the rec room has awesome toys for young kids, our toddler loved it! But it is HOT in there! I think for a play space designed for young kiddos it’s important to keep them cool, even adding a ceiling fan or corner fan would help a lot! Overall it was a great stay!"
