"We had a great time exploring the castle and the grounds.The guest kitchen, lounge, dining, and billard room were perfect for us to get together. Cooking for 20 of us in one go was certainly challenging but we managed."

"My sister and I had a lovely stay here. Loads of parking and a lovely gentleman who worked there helped us find our room. He was really helpful, recommended good places to eat and answered any questions we had. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful gardens outside. "Friendly staff and very helpful, food was adequate. Bed was very uncomfortable, woke up with lots of aches and pains, also extractor fan was not working in bathroom, this was pointed out to staff. Also we found that the lighting was very poor, particularly when trying to apply makeup, a small lighted mirror in the bathroom would help."

"We've stayed here before and it's quite convenient for Stafford show ground. It's a budget pub/hotel, but it's great value and the staffs are lovely. Becca is really excellent and has befriended a few off the older locals and helps them along with advice and a chat. It's not posh, but then it's very cheap. We'll be going back 👍"
