"Second time we have stayed at Sarum College. Absolutely perfect except I hadn’t booked a room with a shower, just a bathtub. I am physically challenged and not able to step in nor sit in a tub but we managed. Lovely view of the Cathedral just across the street!"

"Very clean hotel. It has air conditioning and heat. Breakfast was excellent ! The only things I didn’t like are No lift to move luggage upstairs Not 24 hours check in. If you can’t check in their available hours in the morning , you have to wait till the reception reopen at 3:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon. "

"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

We were a big party of mixed ages and the staff really looked after us...Big thank you to Ed, you were SO helpful throughout booking, changing our numbers constantly, and our eventual arrival. "I cant recommend this hotel enough. It's family run with the warm friendiness this brings, but with spacious rooms, big fluffy white towels and very comfy bed. The buffet breakfast was brilliant, and their bistro setved delicious food. Plenty of parking, short distance to New Forest and woodland walk a short walk away. "

"The Fox was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. The meal that we had on the first night was extremely good, and we had been told that the breakfast was going to be just as good. Unfortunately this was not the case. My husband had the full English, but the black sausage was so dried out that when he put his fork in it it broke into tiny pieces (inedible). The bacon wasn't much better. The hash brown and the mushrooms were ok. However, he was asked how he would like his egg, which...

"It was a great stop for us in our walk in the area . Staff very kind and friendly , food tasty (we had the homemade curry ) . Drinks were also good we had a draught beer and cider. It’s lovely to find people taking on a business and improving it . We didn’t use it but there is a large car park and garden at the rear "

"This was a lovely place to stay. Check-in was easy, and the house was a quick walk from the train station. There was a lovely little welcome package when we arrived, and the room was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. We were within a quick walk to pubs and restaurants, and the nearby historic priory. Would definitely recommend!"

"great welcome and service from owner. room and breakfast great. The farm was on the edge of the village but no easy walks from the farm. I felt I needed the car for any activity. it was unfortunately the main road in Fordingbridge was closed to traffic for my stay , this was not an issue long term for the property but did affect my stay."
