"Stayed with my young family, sister and mum in this extremely well equiped lodge which was situated on a very quiet part of Shorefield holiday park. The lodge was amazing value for money and contained everything needed for a relaxing break. We have stayed at Shorefield before and its a great location with indoor/outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, arcades etc. Amazing break and we will be renting this lodge again!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The hut is well equipped and had the weather been warmer we could have benifitted from the outside space. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example."

"We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The...

"We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!"

Lorna and Neil are perfect hosts giving privacy to enjoy the space also very knowledgeable of local history and great recommendations for places to see and local produce. Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful decor and organic bathroom products, can’t recommend this place highly enough, hope to retire in the future."

"This charming peaceful beautifully appointed private cottage was enhanced by the beautiful forest at its doorstep(virtually) and its environment complete with a pub within a leisurely stroll up a lane. The hosts were extremely accommodating and so helpful. Both Lesley and Mick went beyond our expectations. The one regret we had was that our stay was not long enough. We hope to return one day!"
