We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. This was a beautiful place to spend the night! The room was large (with a surprisingly large bathroom), the dining was delicious, the service was impeccable and best of all, the employees were the nicest we’ve met on this trip to Scotland. We highly recommend the Oak Tree Inn!!

This hotel is different from a traditional hotel. Modern yet not too out there. Lots of young folks around since part of the facility is also a student housing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Location is great too.

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The historic building is beautiful. The room was spacious and had a kitchen. Everything was spotless. The bathroom shower was large, great water pressure and temperature. The bed is super comfortable. They don't make up the rooms daily, as it is an apartment hotel. Quiet setting next to a golf course. Attentive staff. The room {#2} was very large as was the bathroom. It was a bit dated but still pleasant. Great golf course.

Quiet, comfortable ground floor room. Generously allowed me to check in early. Bed and pillows were super comfy and had a great nights sleep. Would happily stay there again!

Basically all was excellent but toilet was not cleaned one day. Very nice room but public areas need facelift. Location 6 stars.

Booked this hotel for its location as we were seeing a show at the SEC Hydro. Really happy with the check in, room and location.

Most helpful and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. My waiters were excellent. I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

There was a pan seared salmon dish on the dining room menu that was fantastic, this was a very well managed hotel, only wish there was a lift for us older folk
