Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. "Great,clean modern hotel with good amenities. Well located in quiet retail area with Cambridge 20 mins away in car, or Park and Ride 10 mins away. Friendly,helpful staff. Everything you need for a comfortable short stay including buffet breakfast, hot or cold. Only negative was the hot breakfast quality not too good (eggs, and hash browns) but enough other items were more than enough for a decent breakfast. Would highly recommend and definitely would book again."

"I've been to 62 countries and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was very comfortable, modern, and clean, and also quiet with great air conditioning. The location is also great, it's just 90-second walk from the main road with all of the colleges, shops, and restaurants. The lobby is a great place to relax with nice decor and a good bar. There's also an outdoor seating area. The breakfast was amazing, and there's an A La Carte menu which is cheaper than the set menu, but has the same food options which are all filling and tasty. The staff is amazing. Not only are they friendly and helpful with everything to do with the hotel, and also with everything to do in Cambridge, but they also went above and beyond to help us with a small personal issue. Absolutely recommended!"

"WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being over the top, Millie was awesome and a real credit to The Old Hall."
