Absolutely amazing! Didn't want to leave. The hospitality was incredible! The owners were indescribably awesome! Not enough words or stars to rate the best experience and warmest I've ever had.

Amazing modern ryokan with private open air onsen on balcony! Spectacular views of the mountains all the way to the ocean! Great service from friendly and accommodating staff serving in room meals! Large public bath in basement with sauna and free massage chairs!

The private Onsen was a really relaxing experience. The place is quiet and far from stores but have shared kitchen. Go to the conbini before check-in

A very peaceful stay near the shrine in Fujinomiya. It was nice to have a genuine tatami room sleep. If you are a big party this could be a really great place to book all rooms. If you have accessible needs, I will say there are a number of non-uniform stair cases, unexpected changes and dropoffs throughout, but in my opinion this is to be expected in an old building like this. The futon’s aren’t very thick so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re a side sleeper. Other than that our stay was great. The owner, Yudai, is incredible and has an excellent sense of hospitality. When I come to Hakone again this place will be at the top of my list.

This was my 2nd time staying here after I adopted the woman who runs the hotel and the shop as my Japan oba last year, I remembered she loves hydrangeas so I stopped in Kamakura at Hasedera to get her a gift before seeing her because her birthday is in June. She's a very sweet and kind woman who doesn't speak English but is totally fine having conversations with translation apps. The property itself is in a great location right across from Mt. Fuji Station so it's easy to get to by bus or train...

This was a lovely place to spend a short scuba diving vacation on the Izu Peninsula. The ocean views from my room were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable.

It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!

Great, quiet, respectful and private hideaway. A stone's throw from the beach. Nice place to unwind. Also there is a digital piano : )

Shared and private onsen available! It was great to experience a traditional Japanese inn. The room was cozy and the staff were very friendly.
