"Great communication from Hotel prior to stay, and really friendly when arrived. Nice property, and easy to get to, with parking available. Staff were really considerate and made me feel safe on a solo travel, without prompt giving a room with private shower, when purchased a shared bathroom. Only shared toilet facilities for my duration. Truly appreciated upgrade. Breakfast was good, option of full english and alternatives, alongside buffet style cereals and fruits. "Beautiful pub and very clean modern rooms! Unfortunately it sounded like a radio was on in the pub kitchen from very early and there were times where we had to wait at the bar for some time as it was left unmanned. Otherwise, amazing food and a lovely stay! "

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"Greeted on arrival and all was explained as I was shown to my room. The room and bathroom were clean. Bedside lamp had USB points which was convenient. Breakfast was simple although three out of the six tables had not been cleared after guests that had been and gone by 9:00 - in fact I didn't see any staff at all in the morning before I left at 10:00 although it had been explained that I could simply leave in the morning with no checkout required."

"Seemed a bit busy/disorganised during the booking and payment process so I was a little worried but it seemed this was due to a change of management and all was fine. If fact, they were very helpful in amending our booking and carrying luggage etc. The room was quaint and quirky, quite quiet and comfortable."

"We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. "Excellent value for money only 10mins drive from legoland which is why we stayed. Local amenities super close by and free parking! Makes it better value than a “main brand” hotel stay. Would definitely use again. "
