"The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag. "

"Great accommodations for family. Kitchen, dining area (large table), bedrooms, beds & bathrooms were great. Outside decks were wonderful places to sit and talk. Downsides are number of steps, very difficult parking & initial musty smell. May book again."

"Overall this was a great house for a weekend trip to the snow. Plenty of space and beds, as well as amazing views. We were an easy drive to Tahoe Donner for skiing, as well as Truckee for restaurants, etc. My feedback would to bring anything you might need for cooking that isn't the appliance or cookware (including oils, condiments, coffee/tea, etc.). Also, do not park in the driveway during the winter. Luckily we didn't, because the plow never came and we would have been stuck."

"My family had a wonderful winter stay at the Serene Lakes cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and relax, and it is just 10 minutes to Sugar Bowl resort where we spent most of our time skiing. The kids also loved playing in the snow and walking to the frozen lake across the street. It snowed A LOT, but the driveway was always cleared in the morning with enough time for us to get the first lift! thanks for a great stay."
