"Hotel lovely in great surroundings. Room clean but bathroom needed refreshing.(the door). we had dinner in the bar although a little pricey food was excellent and plenty of it. The only down side was the state of the drive with quite a few pot holes could be a problem if unsteady on your feet and not good on the car tyres."

"We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight from Stansted as it's less than 10 minutes from the airport."
