"Lovely stay could not fault anything except the tv advertised as having SKY tv but is only the 4 min channels as the TV refuses to connect to internet and would only been Netflix Amazon etc anyway not sky"

"This is a nice hotel/motel ideal if you are sailing from Plymouth or arriving back on the ferry. The room was spacious enough for 2 and very clean. The bed linen and towels snowy white. It has a nice bar and we were made very welcome, we had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant both were well presented and very tasty. I would definitely recommend."

"Loved position overlooking the seaside and free parking. Hotel is being upgraded and I was in an older single room overlooking the rear garden. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable, with everything you needed (except shampoo). Complimentary at the bar and lovely breakfast. Excellent value and I would return. 5 star if the room had been a modernised one."

"When I arrived, I was struck how beautifully situated (walk out of the station and there it is!) and tastefully decorated the hotel was. It's a gorgeous old building. Staff were wonderful. It was only when I met up with some clients that they said "oh the one run by YMCA.?" And indeed it is. They train young people in hospitality, and I think that makes it even better!! Will definitely stay again. Especially as it was cheaper than other local chain 'budget' hotels"

"We arrived early ( parking for only 8 cars), but were warmly welcomed and once the room had been checked , we were allowed in, the room was large and light with a view over the town square. There were a few dog hairs in the carpet, but other than that it was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was continental but enjoyable with the staff , again very cheerful and couldn’t do enough to help ( even ran over to the Co-op to get a gluten free item for a guest).
