"The Brownwood hotel is a clean and comfortable choice when staying for a short stay at the Villages. Be aware they automatically add a $75 charge to your credit card when you check in for "incidental expenses"...When you go to check out and have not used the money for any charges you are told "it will fall away from you credit card". When asked for a receipt showing that such charges were refunded to my credit card I was NOT given a receipt and told if I wanted one I would have to wait for the hotel manager who was "busy" and not available for some time. The desk staff is not at all helpful. Also checking in on a Sunday...nothing is open for a snack, drink or coffee. And be aware...this is the Villages and nothing is available in walking distance."

"Good place to stay. Only complaints are the elevator smells like cigarettes and the walls were thin and we could hear children in the next room easily."

"Room was extremely clean. The Staff was friendly except for the breakfat person who could not smile. The breakfast was alright. As a vegan it was very limited. The A/C was efficient and was not not loud like in other hotels."

"This hotel is our Go-to every year, its clean, feels like a luxury hotel, the lobby and rooms are modern, super clean, large and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and the pool is clean plus complimentary towels. Stay here if you’re going to Rockville, its 41 minutes from the venue and you get a real shower and AC when you’re back from the festival!"
