"The location of the property allowed us to walk to the harbor for excursions as well as to the bus and train terminals. The host, Pasquale ,greeted us upon arrival and was available with advice and assistance, including ordering us taxis when needed, the entire time. Knowing we could contact him and his immediate availability was reassuring. He also responded to our many questions before we actually arrived"

"Room was very clean and nice. Same for bathroom. We had to walk from station to the location with luggages, couldn’t find any Taxis or Uber… problem in Salerno no taxis even on our way back. BlueMare very nice and right on the beach but overall Salerno is not made for tourists."

"This is a great place for a simple, clean room at a reasonable price. The sea view is stunning. The decor is traditional, not contemporary, with lots of colorful tiles. Despite somewhat dated decor, this is the sort of place that would be perfect for families who are more interested in good value than hip design. The hotel is right on the sea, and beach access is a very short walk down the coast (3 -5 minutes). It’s a quick bus ride to center but a world away from the tourist hordes. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a great Japanese place in the same building. Best of all, the place is spotless, and the staff was friendlier and more helpful than we found at five star properties elsewhere. I really can’t say enough about how welcoming they are. Oh, and breakfast was great. They get a family-friendly A+. "
