Some noise from the bar downstairs, but I wasn't bothered by that as you would expect it being a busy restaurant on a main road. Very quiet after closing time and road was quite as well. "Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. "
