This place was a dream, the staff is so friendly and the rooms are beautiful. I felt extremely safe being a woman of color on my first solo trip! The staff treats you like family .. definitely will be back here again.

Great hotel, the room seems to have been a smoking room, it smelled little bad. We also found a cockroach. The rest were perfect, great breakfast, environment and pool area. Good for couple and for relaxing. I feel that the hotel is slightly overpriced.

This hotel is situated along a stretch of road where there are the best food and drink options and just a 10 minute walk to the city center where the market is. Great shopping lines the street so it's always a nice stroll otherwise thet will shuttle you for free. The hotel staff is THE FRIENDLIEST we have met in all of Bali. We had wonderful experience here and the property was very unique with a private pool, nature friendly and staff was exceptionally good. I would rate this at 10 out of 10.

Absolutely best time ever!! The staff is so attentive and kind! Pictures does this place no justice. They offer their own driver and he was fantastic “Dewa” made us feel so comfortable when we were out and about! Everyone from the office to the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Very beautiful place, atmosphere!

A+ to the staff. Vinna and Kadek are like having family around. They took excellent care of us. They cooked a fantastic breakfast every morning especially the homemade sourdough bread and jam. Helped arrange transportation around Ubud and was just generally there for us when needed. The room was very nice, but was a little disappointed there was no TV. A/C worked like a charm. Outside area was full of beautiful flowers/plants. I'd definitely recommend it!!

Thank you for everything you did! From the first day you made me feel at home, welcomed and very well cared for. I booked Ubad Retreat as recommended by the conference I was attending as a less expensive option. Just a thought that I couldn’t have ended up at some chain hotel or anything less personable than The Ubad Retreat is makes me thankful even more to the family that ownes this place. I will return for sure !

Gorgeous property! Room was stunning! We had a 2 story bungalow and the extra space was such a luxury. Loved the outdoor tub and the unique touches such as sarong and night shirt. Just don’t wear the sarong if you go for a walk as all the vendors will know where you are staying. The toilet in the room was the only disappointing space, it looked like the original. Am amazing hotel, would stay again and again.

We enjoyed this hotel so much that we are bringing family for another stay in 2024. The room was comfortable and we slept well. We ate in the cafe for dinner and again the next morning. There is nearby access to the beach and the staff is kind and welcoming. We didn't use the pool, but it was tempting. We thought that this was a great place for the cost. We didn't know that the bottled water was free since it was listed as mineral water on the minibar price list. We'll clarify whether or not...

This was hands down the best vacation of my life. I’ve never felt so relaxed and peaceful! Everyone at Anapuri Villas makes the stay so so special. It’s absolutely beautiful, too. I am 100% coming back!

We really enjoyed using the complimentary bicycles to tour the promenade along beach. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower and bathroom.

The staff at Villa l'Orange really made us feel at home. The driver, Made, deserves special mention. He was a great guide for our visits to area temples and other attractions, and also took us to some interesting local "warungs" (small cafes) that catered to locals. The beachfront location was quite tranquil, with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains.

So glad I got a deluxe room to enjoy the outdoor bathroom. It was so special and relaxing. I also was able to use the spa across the street which came recommended called Leah Leah. ENJOY!

The staff members were exceptionally kind and accommodating. It was truly the best service I have experienced, provided without the expectation of a tip for every small gesture. Its a tropical paradise. The restaurant has an large variety of international cuisine, prepared perfectly. Staff is exceptionally accommodating to every need.
