"Absolutely beautiful hotel, the novelty of it being the old prison added to the amazing stay. Very clean, bed was so comfortable and nice big spacious rooms"

"Plenty of parking available, which felt secure. Unfortunately, there are no EV charging points for guests—only three reserved for staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a little dated (but perfectly functional). The golf course was fantastic and is clearly the main attraction of the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout. The spa facilities were fairly basic, with just a sauna and steam room—both clean, slightly dated, but working well. The jacuzzi by the pool was in good condition, the pool itself was lovely, and the gym was well equipped. Dinner was very enjoyable—I had steak and chips, which were excellent. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel and would be happy to return."
