"Excellent place, immaculately clean. Staff were superb. Great location for getting around the City. If I had a criticism, it relates to the cost of breakfast. For the amount charged I would expect high quality ingredients - the cooked breakfast presented was of the same standard as Premier Inn/Travelodge. The continental option lacked cheese and meats and again, the selection did not live up to the price charged. Hotel great, breakfast disappointing."

"The room was well maintained with an excellent shower. One tile n the bathroom needs re- grouting but no big deal . Room 129. Staff were generally friendly, but TBH we didn’t have a lot of interaction with them which was fine for us. If get breakfast was warm & a adequate selection, though a mall amount of manners by some guests wouldn’t go a miss.The location is the star, just 20 mins walk to the centre & simple to navigate. Tight parking on the front of the premises, but plenty of spaces around the back . Overall the hotel ticks all the boxes for a base if your visiting Oxford for a few days ."

"Welcoming and warm from the moment you step inside the Store! All the staff were friendly and more than happy to help with any request! Only the gym room was a little on the small side, if fitness is needed for part of your stay you may need to find a local gym. Breakfast was great and a thoughtful take on the UK staples… overall, incredibly happy and will return for sure!"

"Staff not attentive and don’t ask how stay was or if any issues. Windows were had condensation on, and thin with outdoor noise. Pillows were flatter than tarmac and no extra pillows in wardrobe. Shower drenched floor and seeped through to hallway."

"Conveniently located, very clean, spacious room, I don't think we've activated the heating properly so we remained a little fresher than hoped. Parking is £5 extra if you don't book directly, we discovered. Free internet is a bonus or we didn't have Any reception. Can't comment on their restaurant/bar as we didn't use it. Welcome break next door has anything else you might need. We'll definitely come again."
