"The hotel was located in a great area. Our room was so quiet, we heard nothing from the road or other rooms. The bed was comfy, pillows were ok, I prefer feather over foam. We had small issues with charging functionality on the bedside tables that weren’t resolved. So we used a power strip from the floor. We had drinks & appetizers at Astra which was very nice & very reasonably priced. The staff were wonderful. And having a free car service, as long as you were within 5 miles was great, as the average temperature while we were there was 95!!"

"I had a great stay at the Virgin Hotel. The room itself was fantastic—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and unlike any standard hotel room. There was plenty of room for luggage, which made settling in easy. One of my favorite features was the door between the entryway and the bedroom. It created a quiet, separate sleeping space and made for a much better night's sleep. The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I really appreciated the unique layout and attention to detail—it felt fresh and functional in all the right ways. My only complaint was that the common areas seemed to have very little air conditioning. The lobby, elevators, café, and restaurant were all quite warm, bordering on uncomfortable. It may have been a temporary issue, but arriving from the Texas heat and walking into warm indoor spaces made for a pretty sweaty first impression. That said, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it."

"It’s one of those properties that doesn’t try to impress you—it just is impressive from the moment you step out of the car. Valet sets the tone immediately: seamless, polished, and fast without feeling rushed. Check-in is handled like they’ve already anticipated your arrival, not like they’re reacting to it. That matters in a hotel at this level. The room quality is exactly what you’d expect from a flagship Ritz property in Uptown Dallas—quiet, heavy on comfort, and designed for actual rest rather than visual gimmicks. The bedding is exceptional, the blackout is complete, and the sound insulation is strong enough that the city feels far away even when it isn’t. Service is where this property separates itself. Staff don’t hover, but they also don’t miss. Requests are handled quickly and correctly the first time, which is harder to find than it should be at luxury hotels. Dining on-site at Fearing’s is a standout. It feels like a destination restaurant that just happens to be inside your hotel rather than a convenience add-on. Breakfast service is equally dialed in—consistent, calm, and not chaotic even during peak hours. The location in Uptown is a real advantage: walkable to solid dining and nightlife, but the hotel itself stays insulated from the noise. This is not a trendy, flashy stay. It’s controlled, mature luxury that prioritizes consistency over spectacle. If you know what you’re booking, it delivers at every level."
