"Property is quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. Enjoyed the sounds of the river, the deck and swimming hole, and relaxing by the fire (propane) in the evenings. Great location for accessing the river in different spots, the lake, and Duncan. Very comfortable bed and pillows, wish I always slept that well. Highly recommend. Hope to be back."

"Our family of 14 spent 3 nights here and there def were issues. 1) Wrong door code was provided. As there's no cell reception there, it's hard to get a hold of the owner/property manager. Luckily, we were able to get through and a new code was given within 10 mins. Still annoying when you're ready to check in. 2) Lots of plumbing issues. Both showers' faucets were not caulked in and are about to be ripped off the wall. Both shower diverters are glitchy and I believe it's causing a leak through...

"This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we needed and was incredibly clean. The location was close enough to anything we needed and several prime tourist destinations, but far enough away that it was silent at night. We loved watching the bunnies in the morning and the bats at dusk. The nearby beach was a delight. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking. "

"We flew in from Toronto to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend. When we arrived at the house we were more than pleased with the cleanliness, the layout, the view, the games, the house book outlining every detail you may need.... including when we blew a fuse. The location was perfect, the view... oh the view and I loved how they organized the perfect weather for us. Smiling. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you for making our getaway easy and enjoyable. "

"Quiet, restful and just the island retreat we needed. The host was excellent and there if we needed anything. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with anything me might have needed. The deck had a great view looking east to Galiano Island. The house is 13 minutes from Ganges and we regularly saw deer beside the road close to the house."

"This home was perfect for our visit from Washington state to a baseball series with the Nanaimo NightOwls. We enjoyed day trips to Campbell River and Tofino along with evening games at the great stadium. EVERYTHING we needed in the kitchen and beyond - very thoughtfully furnished. Sure hope we can visit again!"

"This property is absolutely stunning, with the bay views and a dock right of to the water, I highly recommend this for your next Vancouver island adventure. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and more. There is a washer and drier for your convenience and communication with the host was quick and easy. I 100% will be back for another stay here"

"From the moment you pull up to the first view to the water inside the cabin, it’s outstanding. The pictures really don’t do it justice, as great as they are. The views from this property are nothing short of remarkable! The cabin had everything we needed, was very clean, was extremely comfortable and quiet. The waterfront patios are so private and relaxing to spend time on. We enjoyed every minute! It was awesome to have use of the kayaks! Really calm bay to paddle in and easy beachfront...
