"Great location and easy to find. Check in was excellent and we were shown to our room. The room was a comfortable size, with a small double bed and on the front. We really didn't notice the road noise even though it was 1 of the main routes into York. The only problem we had was an issue with the tv remote, as there wasn't 1 in the room which we reported straight away. The manager came up had a look round too and she couldn't find it either. "Couldn't resist the name. The hotel was in the perfect location for a short trip in York. It was walkable to everything but still tucked away enough that I didn't have to worry about loud people all night. Fair warning this hotel doesn't have an elevator, only stairs so if you're like me and tend to over pack - you've been warned. That being said staff were super helpful in bringing my luggage up and down the stairs. Would gladly stay here again."

"I really liked the convenience of this property. Just 2 small gripes. There was no hairdryer there and although it had coffee and tea making facilities, there was no teaspoon. As I do not carry one and there was no staff to ask for one, this was disappointing. Otherwise good."

"Right from setting foot in the place, we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our room, even though we arrived three hours early and only wanted to see if we could drop off our bags. An ideal location for the Malton food festival. The only real issue we had was no parking, due to the festival. This issue was easily resolved by using a certain app to rent a local drive for the night. We were constantly asked if we needed anything and if things were ok with our stay. Very friendly...

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
