We particularly like character cottages and you couldn't ask for more but at the same time modern and so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and up to date. "This was a great location - very close to frequent rail connecting to tube - fairly close to two tube stations. The neighbourhood was very pretty and the closest 'high street' had a wonderful Turkish vibe - great baklava! There were also other great high streets within walking distance, each unique. "Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. The place could’ve been better cleaned in our opinion as there was clear evidence of prior occupants (empty alcohol bottles in drawers etc). I think this place would be...

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"The location of the property was as expected with the furniture clean. The description did not mention parking or assistance with this so it was annoying to find out that you can park outside on the single yellow during certain times - neighbours park there though knowing it is a rental. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen which was not fully equipped. No microwave, toaster, tea towels, oven dishes, frying pan, chopping board, standard utensils etc. We planned on having Christmas lunch...

"We did not want to leave Chapel Cottage. It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the comforts of the cottage, the walk across the green to the excellent pub, and the ability to hike/run/bike on great trails and footpaths right from the cottage.
