"First time to Scotland on a solo trip. I loved it and I loved this hotel. Very comfortable. There was a door next doo that kept slamming over and over and maybe needed to be fixed. Once those people checked out, it was peaceful. Next time I’ll book a castle view but it was really nice. Food was delicious at the hotel. Loved the iced tea and water containers as you walked in. It was a nice touch after a long day of walking. I was also grateful for the button at the desk to call a taxi to Waverly Station. . Very helpful. "

"The stay was very pleasant; the room was spacious, beautiful, and bright. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to find a kettle and cups to make tea, along with some typical biscuits. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness, but overall, it was excellent."

"Really nice, clean hotel. Well located, within walking distance of major attractions with the added benefit of a bus stop outside for the hop on, hop off service. Only slight negative was the knowledge and communication of staff at breakfast. My wife is coeliac and the information varied depending on who you spoke to. She ended up using her own cereal to be safe."

"The location of the hotel was 3 blocks from St. Guiles Church. I stayed in the Castle Turret facing the street and it was very quiet. Staff was helpful and the breakfast offered by the hotel was satisfying. Friendly staff and a clean good size room. I would stay here again."

"Great staff working here! The room was very quiet and comfortable. Close to the train station. I was in town for a bus tour around the Highlands. Walking from the hotel to the bus station was just a little over 10 minutes."
