"Super staff, perfect location, very good all round "

"It was our first time in Rome and we didn’t know what to expect. The Hive was a very nice hotel, especially for the price. The images online don’t do it justice. Very clean, modern design. The rooms were spacious, but not large. I would say equivalent to a midpriced hotel in the USA. It has usb and usbc charging ports next to the bed for cell phones. The location is very close to the metro but a fair distance from the major attraction of Rome. Walkable to some but a quick Uber ride to the rest. It was quiet. There is a rooftop restaurant. A nice small grocery store within a block. Some decent restaurants within a block or two. I would stay here again. For reference, we are a middle class family in the Philadelphia, Pa. suburbs. Also, we arrived very early(7am) and the Hive was happy to stow our luggage for 5-6 hours before our rooms became available. We felt safe in the area. Again the graffiti and online images gave us pause, but I felt safe with my wife and kids. Hope this review helps others. "

"Great stay! Great location! Bus and train is near! Coming from the airport, I took the train to the 1st stop & the walk from there to the hotel was 10 minutes! The staff was lovely, and the actual room was nice!"

" Great place minutes walk from termini, but still far enough from the station . Room is in great shape with nice balcony. Breakfast really good I liked the option to fill water in the hotel common area . The room is on the small side , but that seems to be the standart "

"Nice hotel with spacious rooms. But our room was not cleaned multiple times whilst we were out for the whole day. They don’t replace coffee and milk pods in the room unless asked (which we had to do every day). Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good."

"Ok so this Hotel is at the perfect location for the Colosseum, Forum and around. Just walking distance and u’re near the grand colosseo. The breakfast is held at 5th floor which has a beautiful view of the Forum n all. Very Nice!! And the staff is so courteous and amazing. loved that. But that’s where niceties end! Low on amenities, old and small rooms, plumbing issues etc etc etc. We stayed just for a night so it was ok but we couldn’t imagine staying there for more days "
