"The resort was excellent, with an amazing views of Lake Toya. The buffet was excellent, with a large spread; we loved everything we ate. The top floor outdoor bath was great, and very relaxing. Overall this was a fabulous hotel, and made for a great relaxing vacation."

"We stayed here for two nights. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Although there are fewer options compared to some other Onsens, they rotated food each day. The grilled steak in the dinner was super and it was paired well with the house Cabernet Sauvignon. The location is great for hiking in the autumn and we hiked up the overlook next to the gondola exit. We were surrounded by the majestic mountains including Mount Yotei."

"Staff was amazing and kind. Food was pretty good and service was top notch. Decent amount of activities to be non ski season. I did wish for more nature. There were no trails to walk that were next to the hotel."

"An older property with some quirks, but the location is ideal, and the staff wonderful! The in-room mini onsen a gift after a day of skiing. A close walk to all the fun restaurants and shops of Hirafu, and the ski in/ out access is ideal. Shout out to the front desk team who answered all questions and helped us book a car at the last minute when uber flaked."
