"This seemed like a nice hotel with a lot of room choices. It was a bit of a maze. The staff were very good and helpful. Some of the food was way over priced. I ordered the butterfly chicken breast, which was £19.95 and all that turned up was a chicken breast, a small portion of warm fries, 1/2 a tomato and 1/2 a charred onion. A bigger bowl of chips on the menu was £5.95, making the chicken, tomato and onion £15! The staff were very good however and understood. They sorted me out a replacement meal. They admitted that they often felt embarrased when they deliver food to customers as they know it's not very good value for money. I blame the hotel chain for setting the prices and I know there isn't much the staff can do about it. As I say, they were very good with handling and resolving my complaint."

"The spa area felt quite cold particularly around the pool so not very conducive to relaxing on the sun beds. The temperature of the pool was quite cool. Best to go in before using any of the thermal journey! Rooms starting to need redecorating in places and my air conditioning unit in Room 313 was leaking water onto the carpet below. Breakfast choice was really good and food was hot. WiFi was very good. Plenty of free parking at the hotel"
