Well maintained property with a view!

Our stay at Chris's house was very relaxing and the room was spotless and well decorated. There was cool documentation on fauna and flora and ample space to park and walk on the property. Note that the pool is a few minutes away at the clubhouse. Tronadora is about 10 minutes away by car if you need groceries or wish to eat at the local Soda. The nature soundtrack (birds, monkeys) was impressive.

Short stay

Property was clean and as described The community very welcoming. We walked every morning up the mountain to capture amazing photos of the scenery. The property is very secluded removed from attractions. Best to buy all your groceries and provision in the bigger town before arrival.

Clean and friendly

We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes. Overall a nice place and would definitely recommend!

Peaceful Costa Rica

The hosts were absolutely wonderful, they welcomed me upon arrival and were responsive whenever I had a question. The weather was poor during my stay so unfortunately I did not get to explore the grounds. However this beautifully appointed apartment in a quiet community was the perfect respite to read a book while watching the weather. The attention to detail in this studio did not go unnoticed right down to the fresh tropical flowers on the counter. Overall a wonderful place with great hosts in a quiet gated community, would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Very Friendly Neighborhood and Hosts!

This Gated Community "Suite" rental was new, beautifully decorated, reasonably priced, and came with the benefits of the Clubhouse pool (which was empty except for my husband and me at the time of our stay), the Spa- where I was able to schedule an hour-long massage at a very reasonable price, and much more! There were trails through the wooded areas and we were able to see streams, birds, and flowering bushes. The community is on the side of a large hill with beautiful views of Lake Arenal and surrounding mountainous landscapes. The paved streets were excellent for getting good exercise as we went to the top to get more excellent views of the area. There were several restaurants with excellent food (and reasonably priced) if you wanted to be pampered or grocery stores nearby to purchase food if you wished to have meals in the Suite. If you want to feel "instantly" part of a neighborhood community, this is the place to stay!
