Copthorne Chapel, Chapel Lane, Copthorne, District of Mid Sussex, West Sussex, England. Built in 1828 and restored in 1898, according to the plaque above the circular window, this Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion evangelical chapel has been in continuous use ever since. It stands in an isolated position northeast of the village; the Surrey/West Sussex county boundary is immediately behind the photographer, and East Sussex and Kent are also close by.

"We arrived at the property.. it was so easy to find with the sat nav app... If I had to give any negative feedback. It would be for such simple little things .. such as some slippers . Bath robes. Shower gel.and tv in the bedroom would of made it complete.. b"

"A beautiful place to stay in. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculate and stylish. The view up to Beacon Hill was amazing and the surrounding countryside reminded you of how England should look. The hosts Eileen & Chris were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely stay there again. Ditchling is fascinating with period houses it’s steeped in history. A tip you must have an afternoon tea at the Nutmeg Tree tea room."

"My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. "This is a great hotel and we booked in again as soon as we knew we were flying from Gatwick. The pool is fab, the rooms spacious, everything is spotlessly clean, the staff were superb and the bar/ food options are decent. Only negatives - it's expensive for a taxi to the airport and it was a complete nightmare accessing the hotel on foot. Last time we stayed we were in a car. Other than that, a top notch place to stay."

"We were on a flying visit, literally one night and left the next morning. During our stay the staff were really helpful, informative and polite. The rooms were nice and clean but the bathrooms were very tired and dated but clean. The beds were clean and comfortable and kept us more than warm enough throughout the night. No complaints from us and we enjoyed our short stay here and breakfast was a good morning starter for us all too. "
