"The B&B was lovely and Catherine was a great host, very welcoming and keen to ensure that everything was perfect for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was amazing. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely location, which was a perfect base to explore York from. "

"Quiet, private place close to York. About an hour to the moors. It suited us well It was a delightful place. You go through a park of small homes to get there but it's very quiet. Easy parking and check in and check out. We used the washer/dryer all in one and it worked well Our hosts left us some milk and a very nice chocolate cake. Had a spacious living room/dining room and a very nice porch. The only thing we didn't catch is that it's a one shower place. There's two full bathrooms but one has a bathtub without a shower.Overall , it was wonderful and all four of us would love to stay there again."

"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the overall experience. Happy group and happy stag!"
