We stayed at Tulia for 5 days following a safari. The resort was amazing but the best part was the staff. They did everything they possibly could to make our stay the best it could be. They were the friendliest, happiest people we have come across in our travels. The food was outstanding, with plenty of options. The island is chock-full if friendly and comforting staff members which truly elevate the unique experience provided by the island itself. The villas were extremely clean and we didn’t even encounter one big inside ours. The hotel has a very quiet and enjoyable beachfront. The property is spacious so you don't feel that there are other guests. The buildings are very well maintained and the food is godd and reasonably priced. The bungalows are not air conditioned so it might get a bit warm during the very humid months (April and May). Overall a great stay. Definitely recommended !

Aluna Lodge is very clean and comfortable. It is also extremely calm and quiet. The beach access is the only downfall. It is a bit of walk to the nice bit of the beach where you can layout. They staff is great!

WOW, the property is very relaxing. It’s very beautiful and the staff , I mean there perfect from the manager to the waiters/bartenders and women that keep the rooms immaculate. They treated me so well, the food is amazing and the views from the bungalows are very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a beautiful experience of Zanzibar and the spectacular ocean views it has to offer.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was spacious with beautiful palm trees at the lower area where my room was. English breakfast was served and the food orders took max 30 minutes. It was quiet, serene and the beach beds were not as crowded as the neighboring hotels. It has the best beach area that forms a beautiful pool during the high tide and it was never crowded.
