Great staff and comfortable. Loved it.

Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜

Great stay, very relaxing and welcoming, and delicious food - thank you James and Catherine!

Amazing staff, and the best cooked to order breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of attention to detail here which is becoming increasingly hard to find. We absolutely loved this place.

The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. Beautiful!

Very relaxing, fantastic room, delicious breakfast!

Paul & Jean and their staff very friendly and most accommodating

Ample parking. Friendly helpful staff. Huge English breakfast included. Bar and restaurant on site...lively place on a Friday night in a good way. Room was very good, but no in-room fridge.

Very friendly.

A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious.

We were visiting the Jurassic coast area and found this treasure. OK, it's not on the coast, but only a dozen miles from Lyme Regis, where accommodation prices are very steep. By going inland a little, we found this great old farmhouse turned into a hotel - a destination for weddings, but also a thoroughly nice place for regular travelers like us. It's in an unlikely setting. You wind through a mile or so of suburban housing on narrow streets. Follow the signs and suddenly you are on a road...

I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. The mugs and plates were very nice, and there were lovely wine glasses available had I wanted to use them. A small table and...
