"Loved the comfy bed! The room was clean however there was a very musky smell we couldn’t get rid of, when we mentioned it the front desk didn’t acknowledge what we said. We then asked for Lysol or some air freshener and she told us that the house keeping closet was locked. Unfortunately we had to deal w/ that smell all night, as they were completely booked."

"Alas, poor Mountain Top Inn, I thought I knew you. I have stayed there back in the day, when there were hot tubs in the rooms. They have made obvious and welcome efforts to improve the property and the rooms. I especially appreciate the excellent bed, and an actual chair. However, it's not as well kept as one would like. In particular, the carpet is super nasty. We wore socks the whole time. Ask for a room with no carpet! Yes, we enjoyed the stay. The views are great, the air conditioning is cold, and I can't applaud the bed enough. We will likely return, but only if the room has no carpet."
