Gorgeous rooms with a great view! Mini kitchen was so wonderful - clean and modern. The self check-in is a great idea, but I can see where some people may find it confusing. Also, watch your head - low ceilings. But overall one of the best stays yet!

Everything was at the top level of excellence

Das Hotel at Säntis is nothing like a 3* hotel. I would give it 4 1/2* for sure. From check in to check out the staff looks sfter you, is super friendly and help ful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. View of the mountain is stunning. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast buffet as well as dinner. Quality of the food is very high using a lot of regionally sourced products, inclusing cheese from the cheese fsctory across the street. We especially liked the short-holiday package...

The location is GREAT on the main road in Appenzell. The staff is super friendly and helpful in suggestion things to do. The breakfast was very good as well. The only to be aware of (which wasn't a negative for us) is the Church right across the street rings its bells until pretty late and again at 6:30 am. They are awesome bells, but very loud. That being said, my wife is a light sleeper and this didn't seem to bother her. It did wake me at 6:30 am however, but that's not a problem if your an...

We loved the locating, breakfast was good.

It was very nice - small room, but everything was convenient and worked well. Good bed and shower

Incredible, spacious, and modern hotel. Great for adults and kids. We’ll be back!

Great place, hope to be back

Our hostess was absolutely hands down the sweetest woman! We loved chatting with her. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was the best part of our European vacation.

Hotel was very convenient to the train station. It is in the center of this wonderful village with lots of restaurants and plenty of shopping. Rooms were very nice the restaurant served a nice buffet breakfast and alson dinner. The bar was pleasant.

It was a great place to stay. It seemed to be brand new. Easy to park the car in the back. We checked in trough a machine that gave us the card to have acces to the building and room. No ac system in the room, but it did not bother. Overall it was a great place since everything was self-service. There were at least a couple of places to go eat that were nerby.

Clean modern room close to train station

We had a wonderful stay at Hof Weissbad. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, peaceful, and welcoming. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect place to relax and recharge. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the wellness facilities, and the calm atmosphere. It is a wonderful place for couples looking for a peaceful getaway, with a...

I really enjoyed stay in this hotel. The price is reasonable and location is convenient (bus is 2 min away: and the train station is about 7-min walk.) Breakfast is very good. The only downsides are that my room is slightly noisy as it faces the street; public transportion is limited on Sunday as it's a small town and it doesn't have elevator. But these are not problems for me and I would stay here again if I come back.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms fantastic and quiet.
