"Great lodging option for those staying in Detroit. Friendly staff and great rooms in wonderful old former upscale homes from the 1880’s. The hotel is close to many attractions. I will say that trying to check in online did not work very well and the phone number listed did not seem to go anywhere. I looked them up on the internet, got the correct phone number and called to check in which went smoothly. The issue may have been because I went through Expedia to book the room. We will definitely go back!"

"Truthfully, we loved so much about this hotel, it would be difficult to list all of he qualities. First and foremost, the staff at the front desk were all so professional, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Roxanne and Marissa were fabulous! Everyone had all of the aforementioned qualities. The hotel was extremely clean. The bathroom in my room had a grab bar and non-slip mat in the shower. Excellent rating for SAFETY!!! I would not stay at any other hotel because of the staff, cleanliness and safety at Hyatt hotels. 5-STAR RATING!!!!"

"The check-in process was honestly amazing relative to the price point of the room. I felt like the hotel was an excellent value. The check-in was nice. I had booked one night for a room with a terrace. And then decided I wanted to come a day early. So we had two separate reservations for two separate rooms. Unfortunately because it is a popular hotel for events I couldn't have the same room both nights. However the concierge made sure to link the reservations and put me on a text alert for when the next room would be available. The welcome beverage was a welcome treat. The little baked goods and the room off the lobby were nice. The vouchers for the hotel bar restaurant were nice. The rooms were comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The showers were nice. I felt like the food that I saw in the restaurant looked good. The hotel is walkable to the main street. It just is a nice little spot. I would recommend."
