"Beautiful hotel in Birmingham, an upscale area With restaurants and shops. I would call the Townsend a 4.5 hotel, not quite a Ritz, but way above a nice Marriott. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever, the staff responsive, the room well designed and the bathroom lovely. The shower was not strong. "
