"This is by far our favorite place to stay; I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful rental! The owners were so easy to communicate with and they have thought of absolutely any and everything to make your stay perfect. The house is an absolute gem; decorated beautifully & so much room. The porch was our very favorite, we could have sat there forever watching the wildlife and beautiful mountain views. We were only a few miles from so many wineries and anything else we wanted to do. And it is pet friendly so we were able to bring our pup. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed to stay at Windy Knoll and we cannot wait to come back!"

"The place is wonderful, and as described in the listing. Great location for hiking, wineries, and breweries all nearby. Everything you need is there, and the bathroom and the shower is very nice. Remember to bring body wash and shampoo (we forgot and it wasn’t provided). "

"Four couples spent a great weekend wine tasting and hiking. We could not have asked for a more amazing home and property. Incredibly spacious. Incredibly clean. Incredibly well stocked. My last incredible is the location in the heart of Virginia wine country. Excellent communication from owners. We really appreciated the use of the garage, although really didnt need it with so much parking area. Enjoyed wandering the property and visiting the herd of cows grazing around the property. We would definitely stay here again. Worth every penny."

"1st time to the area for a wedding nearby which made its location perfect! Plenty of comfortable seating on the porches for relaxing & bird watching. Are stay was short, but we had everything we needed. The coffee/ tea counter was perfect. The veiw from the dining room table, beautiful. The bed was comfy, the place clean & peaceful, making it a breeze to prepare for a family wedding. I would not hesitate to stay at Sweet Afton again, & take some time to explore this beautiful area."

"Your search for the perfect rental home is at an end. Don't hesitate renting A View with a Room. This property was absolutely awesome. You couldn't ask for more. The host took into account everything you could possibly need during a stay for one night to over a week. The beds and living room furniture was comfortable. The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well supplied. The host provided a huge amount of supplies - Kitchen cleaning supplies, paper towels, Kleenex in almost every room, toilet paper, and on and on. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone I know visiting the area."
