"Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit im Chalet verbracht. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und bekamen gute Tips zu Wanderungen, Einkaufen und der Gegend. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es ist absolut ruhig und man kann sich wirklich wirklich erholen."

We only stayed one night at this hotel and left pre-sunrise, so we really didn't get the full flavor of what the hotel might have had to offer (and certainly didn't get to try their breakfast). What we did experience, however, was comfort and a friendly staff.

This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.
